Build Materials and Textures for all Primary Objects

Again, keep your eye on the most important textures/materials first. Textures and materials take time to get right. You'll be able to imagine far more materials and textures than you'll be able to produce. Pick a couple of the most important textural and material qualities of your environment and get those right and let the rest be a placeholder, to get to as your are able.
Consider the following resources for your materials/textures adventure:

- Texturing an Asset Links to an external site.
- Texturing an Anvil Links to an external site.
And again, visit youtube and search for Blender Materials and Blender Textures and as you learn more of the specific terminology relating to materials and textures search for each of those keywords (i.e. nodes, mixRGB, color ramp, procedural materials, node groups, etc.) Search for absolutely everything that you come across. Search by its name. This is how you get to know the vast ocean of resources out there.
